On 26th February 2024, CIFIL (CAMS IIT-Madras Fintech Innovation Lab) hosted a dynamic Symposium bringing together key players from the insurance industry and academia to tackle the challenges hindering the growth of insurance in India.
The highlight of the event was the launch of the research report ‘Why India isn’t claiming its insurance?’ by CAMSRep, in collaboration with AGR and other esteemed partners. The study cuts across policyholders, insurers, product categories, and service providers to uncover perceptions that can help in transforming the policyholders experience and layout areas to improve the value perception of insurance. This report sheds light on crucial insights into the factors contributing to low claim rates in our country, sparking meaningful discussions on potential solutions.
